The STEF site in Quimper hosts the "Classe en Entreprise" operation
CSR & environment

Mobilized for the professional integration of young people for more than 20 years, the STEF Group continues its actions in favour of the professional orientation and integration of young people.
At the initiative of the Lycée professionnel Roz-Glas de Quimperlé (29), the STEF Quimper site is taking part in the "Classe en entreprise" operation. On January 27, 28 and 29, the STEF Quimper teams welcome 12 students in 5th, 4th and 3rd year vocational preparation classes to help them build their PIODMEDP (information, orientation and discovery of the economic and professional world).
On the programme for these 2 and a half days: the usual courses (French, mathematics, technology...), a fun discovery of how the company works and its professions (driver, quay agent, operator...), the creation by the students of small videos on the professions followed which will be used in the establishment during the work on orientation.
The project also aims to highlight the importance and usefulness of the subjects taught by illustrating the lessons according to situations observed in the company and to collect the vision retained by the pupils of the company.
For Victor Lelait, Director of Human Resources at STEF région grand ouest: "The teams at STEF Quimper are proud to participate in this Classroom in the Workplace project, which is a unique experience for both students and employees. The students will be able to discover the company, have privileged exchanges with the employees and finally discover the transport professions. The employees will be keen to share their passion for their job as well as the Group's values of enthusiasm, respect, rigour and performance. Participating in this project also represents a great opportunity to promote our employer brand".
For Patrice Guérin, Director of Vocational Training at the Lycée professionnel Roz-Glas:"The aim of this innovative project is, through the discovery of the transport professions, to re-engage students in school activities. And to understand the construction of a professional and training project".
