STEF is committed to your success
Our service commitments
Ensuring food safety at all times
We carry out temperature checks at each stage of storage, order preparation and transport of your products to guarantee the cold chain remains unbroken and comply with all applicable regulations.
The checks are performed on an ongoing basis under the responsibility of our quality teams present at each of our sites. We follow the requirements laid out in your specifications. This monitoring is paired with an alert system to ensure that qualified personnel intervene immediately in the event of an incident.
All staff at every level receive ongoing training in hygiene and food safety. In addition, the Group communicates all its food safety rules to its suppliers. For certain products, such as butter, we carry out our operations in clean rooms to avoid any risks or outside odours.
We also regularly perform in-house audits to ensure our health control plan is properly implemented at each of our sites.
Achieving an optimal service rate for deliveries
We offer you the shortest possible delivery times for product shipments across France. We cover all logistics hubs for medium and large retailers and deliver daily to over 100,000 points of sale.
Ensuring your products are traceable
Using the STEF client portal, you can track the progress of your logistics and transport services with ease, from the time your order is taken via EDI through to delivery. You can download your digital proof of delivery and delivery receipt, and analyse your main supply chain indicators: carbon footprint, on-time delivery rate, service quality rating, number of positions, tonnes delivered, and transport costs.
Integrating your CSR targets
STEF has made its CSR policy a cornerstone of its strategic framework and a key element of its culture to help you reach your own targets. Every day, our teams implement exacting, concrete initiatives to build a green ecosystem that underpins your food supply chain.
Our programme to fight climate change, Moving Green, has 3 main goals:
- Reduce our vehicles’ GHG emissions by 30% by 2030
- Use 100% low-carbon energy in our buildings by 2025
- Support our subcontractor partners in improving their impact on the environment
The steps we have taken since 2017 have enabled us to maintain EcoVadis Gold certification for the past seven years, which places our company in the top 1% in our sector and the top 5% across all sectors.
